For example, you can install a large six-person rooftop tent on the roof of the BMW 2 Series. You are also free to decide whether you want to buy a hard-shell or a soft-shell rooftop tent. You should only make sure that the rooftop tent is not wider than the vehicle when folded.
A hard-shell rooftop tent for the BMW 2 Series has the advantage that it is quicker to set up. On the other hand, a soft-shell rooftop tent is usually better equipped and offers more space.

However, note that if you mount a rooftop tent on the roof of the BMW 2 Series, fuel consumption can increase and the maximum range can be reduced. Likewise, driving behavior can also be negatively influenced, as the center of gravity shifts further upwards. So you should always drive very carefully with a rooftop tent and remember that fuel consumption increases.
